An old video of Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt praising Anupam Kher

An old video of Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt praising Anupam Kher for his smack on a journalist has surfaced online: ‘Accha kiya jo maara’, says the speaker.
When actor Anupam Kher hit a journalist some years ago, Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt, among others, praised him. Recently, an old video of the actors surfaced online.
On Monday, an old video showing Jackie Shroff, Sanjay Dutt, and Salman Khan standing behind actor Anupam Kher following his smack on a journalist surfaced online. Rarephotoclub posted the video to Instagram. In the video, Sanjay Dutt says in Hindi, “Had I been in his shoes, I would have smashed everything.”
Salman said, “Unhone (Anupam) jo thappad mara hai na, accha kiya hai jo maara hai, accha kiya hai jo maara hai. Because yeh jo humari jo image hai, jo hum nahi hai, ghalat image jo represent karrahe hai (He did a nice thing by slapping. It’s worse than someone smacking us since they’re slapping us publicly by projecting our false image. People will start believing a falsehood if you say it 100 times”.
Later, Anupam Kher discussed how his parents fought to provide him with an education. “Today, my education and etiquette has gone crazy because I struck a man that pushed me to the ball”, he said.
I spent three years preparing for the National School of Drama, one year training for Indian theatre, three years teaching, and three years sleeping on the road. And then they want to accomplish that 20-year project in eight years… He has the ability to write for a magazine that sells falsehoods and people’s bedroom stories.”
According to Jackie Shroff, “Leading females, or messing about with other girls, or us being bisexual or homosexual, or anything, that’s nonsense. They should be paying attention and discussing our efforts. The entire country enjoys and loves our flicks. That is the only form of entertainment available. Who has the leisure to engage in such nonsense?”
A portion of the caption stated, “1992 was an eventful year in which Stardust magazine went too far and enraged several Hindi film industry celebrities. Anupam Kher smacked a journalist and received widespread support, despite the media’s opposition.” Instagram user @bobbytalkscinema first posted the footage.
Anupam will appear in the film The Vaccine War, directed by Vivek Agnihotri. It is scheduled to be released in 11 languages in theatres on July 4, 2023. In addition to Anupam, the film stars Nana Patekar and Sapthami Gowda. Anupam was most recently featured in the family drama Uunchai, in which he co-starred with Amitabh Bachchan, Boman Irani, and Parineeti Chopra, as well as the Netflix series Trial By Fire.
