Dengue is also spreading as fast as the coronavirus. The main cause of dengue is the dirty surroundings because more mosquitoes breed there. For this, stay away from dirt as much as possible and do not spread dirt. The general ward in government hospitals is overcrowded as dengue has spread to its peak.
There have been about 75 cases of dengue documented in the area thus far, according to SC Pandey, the district malaria officer (DMO).
In order to help the patients, we have made special provisions at hospitals and instructed hospitals to set up dengue wards, according to Pandey. Additionally, he said that plans had been made to conduct tests and give them particular medicine when they arrived at the hospital.
He said that as of right now, patients are primarily coming from Taktakpul, Shivpur, Bilaipur, and other nearby places. Additionally, we have asked the Varanasi Nagar Nigam to conduct fogging campaigns and to spray anti-larval disinfectants in areas prone to waterlogging.
