Due to threats of death, Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, and Anupam Kher’s security has been heightened.

After receiving threats against their life, Bollywood actors Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, and Anupam Kher reportedly had to step up their safety precautions.
The Maharashtra government has reportedly increased protection for each actor after an internal investigation found threats against them, according to Hindustan Times. According to sources, Khan will receive Y+ security cover, which means he would have a total of 11 security officers, including one or two commandos, according to The Quint. One commando, four constables, and three Personal Security Officers (PSOs) will be stationed at his home as part of the five-person security detail. Three shifts of PSOs are deployed in rotation (meaning one PSO with the assigned person at a time). MS Dhoni, a former captain of the Indian cricket team, has also received this degree of protection.
X category security will be provided to Kumar and Kher, meaning that they will always have two armed guards assigned to them each. There are no commandos offered. The celebs will be responsible for paying for the extra precaution.
In June, a threatening letter was sent to the Bajrangi Bhaijaan star and his father, director and screenwriter Salim Khan. The message allegedly threatened to kill them in the same manner as musician Sidhu Moose Wala was assassinated earlier this year, according to Indian media. This implied that Khan is currently being pursued by the same individuals, allegedly the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Numerous members of Bishnoi’s gang were detained by the Mumbai police after a FIR was filed, and many of them admitted to targeting Khan.
Up until today, the actor from Radhe has been subject to regular police protection. Investigations in Delhi, Punjab, and Mumbai over the past few months have shown that gangsters Bishnoi and Goldy Brar had intended to murder Khan in Mumbai, which has led to new developments in the case. According to reports, it was made twice: once in 2017 outside his Bandra home during a birthday celebration, and once in 2018 at his Panvel estate.
As a result of the numerous death threats that followed the screening of his movie The Kashmir Files, Kher reportedly received additional security protection. Based on threats made against Kumar’s nationality on social media, protection was granted.
The state government increased Salman Khan’s security to Y+, citing threats from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, which is thought to be responsible for the murder of Punjabi singer and Congressman Sidhu Moosewala. Y+ security cover means that in addition to receiving a security car, the subject would be escorted by four security personnel throughout the course of two shifts.
After a threat letter was discovered close to actor Salman Khan’s residence on Sunday morning, patrolling outside of the actor’s Bandstand flat in Bandra (west) was enhanced in June, and security provided to the actor has been stepped up.
