Things Don’t Appear to Be Favoring the New Releases in Phone Bhoot Box Office Day 2 (Early Trends) Vs. Mili & Double XL
A 2022 Indian Hindi-language spooky comedy film titled Phone Bhoot, also known as Phone Ghost, was produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani under the Excel Entertainment brand. It was directed by Gurmmeet Singh. Starring in the movie are Jackie Shroff, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Ishaan Khattar, and Katrina Kaif. On November 4, 2022, it had its theatrical debut to mixed reviews from critics.
Early Trends for Phone Bhoot Box Office Day 2 vs. Mili & Double XL: Three films were released on Friday at the box office at the same time, which was seen by moviegoers. Ishaan Khatter and Siddhant Chaturvedi also have significant roles in Katrina Kaif’s follow-up to Sooryavanshi, the horror comedy Phone Bhoot. Mili, which also has Sunny Kaushal, Manoj Pahwa, and Janhvi Kapoor in pivotal roles, clashed with it on the day of its premiere.
The Sonakshi Sinha and Huma Qureshi-led Double XL tussled with both movies. Only Phone Bhoot appears to have received average attendance out of the three movies, while Mili and Double XL are hardly seen at all.
According to recent box office data, Katrina Kaif’s film is currently in the lead. Phone Bhoot reportedly made between 2.5 and 3.50 crore on its second day of release, according to media reports. But just 40–50 lakhs were raised for Milli, while 20–30 lakhs were raised for Double XL. Their total receipts currently stand at 4.55–5.55 crore, followed by 1–1.10 crore and 30-45 lakhs, according to the most recent data.
Phone Bhoot, Mili, and Double XL debuted to 2,05 crores, 40–50 lakhs, and 10-15 lakhs, respectively, on their opening day. Only the Katrina Kaif, Ishaan Khatter, and Siddhant Chaturvedi-starring movie has been doing quite well at the box office; the other two movies are making a lot of effort to succeed.
Phone Bhoot, Mili, and Double XL were also seen, reviewed, and given 3, 3, and 1 star, respectively, by Koimoi.

In contrast to “similar-looking content on the OTT platforms,” according to film producer and industry expert Girish Johar, this week’s releases have a potential to connect with the public since they have something unique to give. He proclaimed, “The Hindi box office has already experienced a miserable and mediocre Diwali.” This year’s Diwali box office for Hindi films was the lowest ever. Strangely, none of the movies—Thank God or Ram Setu—could pull in a crowd. As we get into regular box office days, we therefore have three pictures that are distinct from one another. On OTT platforms, we may find similar content with ease.
