On a recent episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati, Amitabh Bachchan discussed Jaya Bachchan’s method of expressing her love.
Amitabh Bachchan, an actor, has revealed yet another endearing fact about his marriage to Jaya Bachchan. Amitabh said that Jaya feeds him by hand when she feels particularly mushy in a forthcoming episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati season 14. Amitabh asks a candidate in a Sony Entertainment Television promo if he can cook. The candidate asserts that he is not allowed in the kitchen and adds, “The wife would kick me out of it if I entered.” He replied that she prepares everything for him when Amitabh inquired as to what she cooks for him.
She prepares that food for me; all I have to do is ask. Even when we disagree, he claims, she still sends me post-it notes in the lunchbox. “Muffin for my muffin,” he says to Amitabh, who cannot help but smile at their romance. She calls me muffin with love.
The contender then inquires as to whether Jaya Bachchan also writes him love letters. While the audience laughed and applauded, Amitabh told him, “(She doesn’t send me notes, but if she is feeling amorous, she lovingly produces items that the I like and she uses her own hands to put them in my mouth.)
Amitabh and Jaya’s two children, son Abhishek and daughter Shweta, were born in 1973, shortly afterwards their married. Aaradhya, the son of Abhishek, and Navya and Agastya, the grandsons of Shweta, are their grandkids.
Jaya previously discussed how Amitabh becomes irritable when her friends come to visit on an episode of Navya Naveli Nanda’s new podcast What The Hell Navya. Jaya said to Navya: “Your grandmother is the grumpiest, like, ever. He will say, Excuse me ladies, I have to go up.” If it’s okay with you, and something. In reality, they are happy he’s not there.
The actor clarified when Navya said it was because Jaya’s friends might be aware of Amitabh’s presence, “not aware. They have loved him for a long time, yet he has evolved since then. He is also old. You are aware that it is possible to grow old but not grow old.”
