Veteran actor Kabir Bedi previously said that when he was 10 years old, he spent a few months in Myanmar as a Buddhist monk. In an earlier interview, Kabir stated that he needed to shave his head, wear a robe, and walk the streets with a bowl to collect money.
Kabir was born into a Sikh household in Lahore. Baba Pyare Lal Singh Bedi was his father, and Freda Bedi was his mother. She was the first Western woman to receive Tibetan Buddhist ordination.
Kabir Bedi will play a crucial part in the show, which was originally intended to be a film.

Kabir’s memoir Stories I Must Tell: The Emotional Journey of an Actor was published in 2021. He wrote about his marriages and even his friendship with the late actor Parveen Babi in it. He also wrote on his transition from Bollywood to Hollywood, his spiritual side, and other topics.
Kabir was married to Protima Bedi but they divorced. They have a daughter, Pooja Bedi, and a son, Siddharth. He committed suicide in 1997. Kabir had an affair with Parveen Babi before marrying Susan Humphreys. Adam Bedi is their son. He then married Nikki Bedi, whom he divorced in 2005. He just married Parveen Dusanj.
Kabir Bedi made his Bollywood debut with Hulchal in 1971. In the 1980s, he achieved international popularity with his Italian TV show Sandokan, and he later appeared in films such as Octopussy.
Kabir continues to perform in Hindi films, often in supporting parts after the 1990s. Some of his films are Taj Mahal: An Eternal Love Story, Kacche Dhaage by Raj Khosla, Khoon Bhari Maang by Rakesh Roshan, and Main Hoon Na by Farah Khan.
